Full digital toolkit for brand launch

The talented folks at HeyBigMan! approached me to help them with the launch of Cult Wine Investment, a new investment platform that allows users to invest in fine wines in the same way as traditional stocks and shares.
Using their expertly crafted print campaign as a base, my brief was to transform it into fully-fledged digital campaign.
From simple banners to elaborate bespoke page takeovers, I developed a comprehensive digital toolkit to launch the Cult Wine Investment brand in the digital space.
Banners

The first part of the toolkit was a suite of animated banners in all standard formats.
To avoid unnecessary distraction and let the punchy visuals and bold copy do the talking, I opted to keep these purposefully simple, forgoing text animations and frame transitions.
To allow for performance testing further down the line, the toolkit included multiple versions of each ad with both the wine splash and grape vine visuals, as well as an alternate set with white copy.

Digital Assets

The partner media agency had identified multiple websites and media outlets that would be optimal places to reach the target audience.
For this portion of the launch toolkit, I created a variety of digital assets across desktop, tablet, and mobile. These included page skins, interstitial ads, wallpapers, and screensavers.
Page Takeover

The South China Morning Post is one of the leading publications in Hong Kong and wider Southeast Asia, a key demographic that Cult wanted to reach with their launch campaign.
As part of the media plan, an entire page worth of digital ad placements were booked out on the SCMP website, allowing for the opportunity to do a truly bespoke takeover.
Instead of simply blocking out the page with multiple stand-alone ads, I took the approach of trying to create a journey from the top of the page to the bottom.
The grape vine links the ads together, meandering throughout the different placements, creating both a narrative and an impactful, cohesive visual.
